MATERIALS

Our construction system is based on the use of various materials of natural origin, according to different stages of the construction process.

The main element of our system is a type of unfired clay brick, stabilized with a minimum percentage of cement mixed with other elements and pressed to ensure stability and durability. We employ clay from quarries close to the construction site, reducing transportation costs and environmental impact. Unfired clay additionally gives the building excellent thermal inertia, good sound insulation and natural moisture regulation.

Materials such as wood, hydraulic lime, ground sea shells for floors, and rice husks for insulation and filling are also used in the various stages of construction.

TECHNIQUES AND PROCEDURES

To ensure speed, precision and safety at the construction site, we have developed a system where the masonry, 30 cm thick, is composed of bricks of various shapes, resting on appropriate reinforced concrete foundations. The bricks connect to each other and are reinforced with vertical and horizontal iron ribs.

The electrical and plumbing systems run inside the masonry, inside channels that we have designed specifically to ensure efficiency.

In choosing each component of the building, we respect criteria of the highest quality and respect for the environment.
